In February of 2021, I got the idea of having a mini plant hanger in my car. From there I combined my love of plants and creative side (with inspiration from Pinterest) to make my best seller “The Mini Air Plant Hanger”. Quickly growing in popularity among a few Vancouver Island houseplant Facebook groups, I starting adding different styles and received requests for larger pieces.

Over a year later, I have grown into a small business attending markets across the island and having my items available in local storefronts.

At Van Isle Macrame, I do my best to source my supplies locally and through other small based businesses. From plant hangers, decor and accessories each piece is handmade by me.
